Jefferson City’s Regional Planning Commission the rezoning of some 69 acres of industrial land located near Walmart, between North Chuckey Pike and Odyssey Road.

Code Enforcement Officer Tom Jones represented the city at the most recent meeting of city planners to request rezoning the site from M-1 (light industrial) to M-2 (heavy industrial). Expecting the real estate transaction would close within days, he noted the importance of the property to the city’s economy.
