JEFFERSON CITY - Longtime Carson-Newman assistant Mike Clowney was officially introduced as the university’s 19th head football coach during a morning press conference yesterday.

The 1997 C-N alumnus has served as associate head coach for several years, most recently under Mike Turner, who retired in December. Clowney holds honors in both his alma mater’s and the South Atlantic Conference’s halls of fame.
