The $108 million county budget and a two percent property tax increase squeaked through County Commission on an 11-9 vote Thursday night.

The approved budget also calls for dipping into the $1 million in usable general fund reserves for another $486,000 in order close a gap the budget committee whittled from $1.6 million down to about $900,000.
