Jefferson County Mayor Mark Potts made a drop in visit to a Jefferson City Council work session June 16, with a three-item agenda.

He began with gratitude for the City’s strong participation in the overall effort to address hunger in the wake of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 shutdown. He reached out to the mayors around the county, including Jefferson City’s Mitch Cain, he said, “because we had seniors needing food and we didn’t have a way to feed them. Meals on Wheels was not running at the time.“
