The Jefferson County Zoning Board and Planning Commission met on July 23, addressing two zoning issues, two building variance requests, a site plan for a White Pine Family Dollar Store, and a final plat review for a New Market subdivision.

A site plan for a proposed Family Dollar Store to be located on Highway 113 at Interstate 40, exit 424 in White Pine was presented to the commissioners by David Wild of Wild Building Contractors, and Shane Jordan of Highland Engineering.
