State grants totaling $138,000 will benefit Jefferson County High School’s expanding Career Technical Education (CTE) program — including a major boost for a new welding apprenticeship through Oshkosh.

The Perkins Reserve Consolidated Grant funds will also provide new equipment and help extend CTE opportunities to local middle school students.
