Dandridge Council will consider designating the town a “gun sanctuary” with a resolution similar to one approved in a handful of other East Tennessee localities.

Meeting in work session Tuesday, the group heard a brief report on the proposal from City Attorney Jeff Greene, who said Vice Mayor Todd Kesterson asked him to prepare it based on wording in a similar Loudon County action approved earlier this year.
