Hoyos visits with potential constituent

Democratic second district congressional candidate Renee Hoyos visits with a potential constituent following Thursday evening’s bean supper, held at the Jefferson County Rescue Squad building in Dandridge. – MARK BROWN | THE STANDARD BANNER

Two congressional candidates and a state representative provided mental fodder to go along with the beans and cornbread Jefferson County’s democrats enjoyed at their annual supper last week.

Held in the Jefferson County Rescue Squad building on Thursday, the event allowed audience members to reengage with Renee Hoyos, meet Chris Rowe and hear a state legislative report from State Representative Gloria Johnson (TN, 13).
