The bulk of Jefferson City Regional Planning Commission’s Thursday meeting was given to phase one of a major mixed-use development along Highway 11E. Other agenda items featured Carson-Newman University’s amphitheater, passage of Highway 92 frontage parcels and two lot subdivisions – only one of which was successful.

Located at the eastern edge of the city limits, the 75-acre, mixed-used project is being split into phases, according to David Harbin, engineer/surveyor for the development led by Shannon Greene.
