Exotic wildlife expo

Experienced raccoon owners Dakota Roberts (front) and Larry Roberts run the newest member of their family, RJ Raccoon, through his paces. RJ was purchased at “Espresso Exotic Animal Expo,” held at the Dandridge Field of Dreams on Saturday and Sunday. Field of Dreams was turned into an extensive exotic wild life exhibit, which brought ferrets, hedgehogs, mini gerbils, snakes of all kinds, a black Asian Forest Scorpion, and all colors of birds — even one yellow budgie escapee flew into the rafters. Visitors were able to learn about habitats, diets and the care and feeding of particular animals. They also were able to purchase some animal freinds and birds to take home. – STEVEN LLOYD | THE STANDARD BANNER
