Twenty-nine years ago, Jefferson County High School (JCHS) math teacher Teresa Franklin applied for her first job at the high school. People suggested she apply to more than one place, but she was set on getting her number one choice.

“It was my dream job and I was lucky to get in. It has been great from the first year to this last year,” exclaims Franklin, who is on the brink of retirement.
