Grant provides new work-out equipment

The Town of Dandridge’s Community Activity Center has eight new pieces of exercise equipment thanks to a $20,000 Tennessee Department of Health Grant. Jefferson County Mayor Mark Potts (left) and Dandridge Mayor George Gantte (second from left) teamed up to apply for the grant with assistance from Health Department Director Sherrie Montgomery and Dandridge Recreation Director Chris Shockley. With them is Dale Fain, who was in the middle of a work-out on the new machines. – STEVE MARION | THE STANDARD BANNER
