New Market Elementary (NMES) and Piedmont Elementary (PES) “Read to be Ready” campers asked Asian international students visiting from Carson-Newman everything from what they eat to what kids learn in school.

“We are privileged to have the support from Carson-Newman to give us exposure to international students from China and Taiwan, and one teacher from Korea who was an international student in his past,” commented program coordinator Lisa Knight.
