Health Council members were impressed by the presentation of Dandridge Elementary teacher Lisa Haynes and her fourth grade student Joyce Sparks at their meeting in late May.

The duo updated listeners on the status of a communal garden that the teacher and her students planted at the school last year. They have tended it well and are reaping abundant harvests.
