Fishing on the Dandridge Dock

Visitors enjoy a Sunday morning fishing session on the Dandridge Dock. The town council is working on an ordinance preventing anglers from using more than two fishing rigs per fishing license-holder so there will be plenty of room for everyone to fish. – STEVEN LLOYD | THE STANDARD BANNER

Dandridge Council gave first reading approval to a $3.6 million general fund budget that includes no property tax increase Tuesday evening.

The budget includes a three percent raise for town employees, as well as a $100 per month raise for members of the town council. The spending plan also maintains $325,000 in safeguards against potential revenue disruption due to coronavirus.
