New grant for teacher emergency ‘Go-Bag’

Safe School Grants are received yearly by the Jefferson County Schools. This year, Rush Strong received about $3,300 which provided each teacher with an emergency “Go-Bag.” It will travel with each teacher and the students for field trips and recess. It contains first aid supplies, a class roster and anything the teacher might feel is needed during an emergency.
