Jefferson County’s E911 is continuously updating its technology to provide a timely and accurate response to all emergency situations.

Before the most recent 911 Emergency Communications Board meeting, Director Jason Crowther provided a brief overview of the 2019 improvements and upgrades. One of the most significant is the integration of “Rapid SOS” into the agency’s computer-aided dispatch (CAD) system.
