Lakeway Christian Schools plans to open its new $65 million campus for grades six through 12 in White Pine this fall.

Executive Director Bob Brown said the opening of Lakeway Christian Academy is expected to be the day after Labor Day, a month later than the beginning of classes at sister school Cornerstone Academy, due to minor construction delays. The new campus’s 1,200-seat performing arts center, which is similar to the Niswonger Center in Greenville, is not expected to be complete until later in the academic year.
