Tuesday’s announcement that Old Time Saturday’s board decided to cancel the 33-year-old event left a very temporary void. The City of Jefferson City announced yesterday afternoon that the first Saturday in October will be rebranded as “The Mossy Creek Station Festival.” It will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“The festival will now be named The Mossy Creek Station Festival,” noted a 120-word press release sent by City Manager John Johnson. “This event is an official event of the City of Jefferson City.”
