The owner of a home padlocked by investigators last week because of alleged drug activity has filed a court motion to dismiss the complaint.

Sharon R. Bennett of 114 St. Paul Drive, Dandridge, claims that, while she is aware some members of her family are drug-addicted, she had no knowledge of any illegal activity at her home. In the motion filed yesterday in Circuit Court by her attorney, Randall F. Crossing of Jefferson City, she also claims the petitioner failed to comply with a statute requiring a court hearing within five days of the temporary injunction and shuttering of the property.
