Disappointment over the cancellation of a traditional high school graduation ceremony was the theme of comments from parents and students at last week’s School Board meeting.

Late last month, school officials announced that the 45th commencement at Jefferson County High will be virtual, including a video broadcast May 23 following a senior celebration parade on campus. The reason is health concerns stemming from the coronavirus pandemic.
