JEFFERSON CITY - A procedural technicality has led Jefferson City’s Regional Planning Commissioners to table a rezoning request that could ultimately lead to the addition of more than 200 housing units. The land up for consideration is adjacent to Hillview Lane, across Highway 92 from the Community Center.

The property, recently acquired by Nick Lakins, is presently zoned R-1 for single family dwellings, but he said during a meeting last week that he intends to do a couple of phases of single family homes and then transition to condos and maybe multi-family units near the back of the tract.
