The Jefferson County Department of Education continues to develop plans for re-opening of schools for the 2020-2021 school year.  

Director of Schools Dr. Shane Johnston said today that District leadership teams have been studying four different plans to begin school in August, but the scenarios are designed to allow for transition from one scenario to another as smoothly as possible in the event circumstances become more, or less, stringent.
