Taking advantage of free fishing

Kaiden Talley gets some basic fishing instructions from Mason Hill while waiting for the 125 competitors to return after a 6 a.m. start at the Douglas Lake Largemouth Bass Tournament Saturday. Part of The White Pine Marina Tournament Trail, Saturday’s event at the Dandridge Boat Dock coincided with Free Fishing Day, when anyone could fish in Tennessee waters without a license. Lots of the anglers at the dock were taking advantage of the license-free fishing. – STEVEN LLOYD | THE STANDARD BANNER
