Three people face drug charges following two separate traffic stops — one the result of a 90 miles-per-hour chase, deputies at the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department reported last week.

Officers seized a half dozen types of narcotics and arrested two people following a drug dog search of a vehicle early Friday morning on West Highway 25/70 in New Market. In a separate incident last Tuesday night, deputies arrested a Bybee man for alleged methamphetamine possession and other charges after he led them on a high speed chase in the White Pine area.
