Two motorists may have saved the life of a dumptruck driver whose rig caught fire after a crash on Highway 11E Tuesday afternoon.

The two men, whose names are unknown, pulled driver Willard Phillips, 57, of Rocky Top, through the broken-out windshield of his 2006 Mack after it rolled onto its side and caught fire in the parking lot of the Strawberry Plains Post Office, Trooper Erik Raines reported.
