While there’s not a lot of hard data yet, anecdotal evidence suggests the new Hands Free in Tennessee law that took effect July 1 is reducing drivers’ use of cell phones, say law enforcement leaders across the county.

Jefferson City Police Chief Andy Dossett reports his officers noticed improvement in just the first week of the new law’s implementation.
