As they continue to prepare for the upcoming 2019-2020 football season, Jefferson County faced off against Cocke County in a seven-on-seven scrimmage on Tuesday, with both teams working to improve their passing efficiency.

Starting quarterback Tanner Atkins tested his arm with a field of Patriot wide receivers and running backs, while the Patriot secondary practiced their zone and man-to-man defenses. On the other end of the field, Jefferson County’s offensive and defensive lines ran pass-rush drills against Cocke County.
