JEFFERSON CITY – Coming off one of the better seasons historically in Hickory, N.C., the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears welcome the Carson-Newman Eagles back inside Irwin-Belk Stadium October 9 for the fourth conference game of the season.

L-R was a perfect 7-0 in league contests last season to go along with a 12-2 overall record that pushed through into round three of the NCAA Division II playoffs. The South Atlantic Conference champion lost only its opening game of the season at nationally ranked West Florida and the season finale to the eventual national champion, Valdosta State.
