DANDRIDGE - The Maury Hornets made quick work of visiting Lincoln Heights Tuesday night, riding their powerful ground game to a 40-6 Middle Eight conference win.

The Hornets (4-0) scored all five touchdowns in the first half, finding the end zone every time they got the ball. Meanwhile, Maury’s defense stymied the Patriots on each of their possessions, setting up the Hornet offense to score. Lincoln Heights only had four first downs and 140 yards, compared to 9 first downs and 238 yards in the first half alone.
