DANDRIDGE - Jefferson County High kept its chances for a regular season District 2-AAA championship alive Friday night with a workman-like 73-46 win over visiting Cocke County.

Bouncing back from an upset loss to Morristown West Tuesday, the Patriots took control early and poured it on in the second half, to win going away. The victory improved their district record to 9-2, one game behind Sevier County (9-1), with a showdown looming this Friday between the two squads.
