MORRISTOWN - Jefferson Middle spotted Lincoln Heights an 8-6 lead, then exploded for 32 straight points in a 38-8 victory that gave them third place in the Middle Eight bowl series Saturday at Burke-Toney Stadium.

Emmitt Newman led the way for the Elks, rushing for 72 yards and a score, catching five passes for 91 yards and another TD, and sacking the Patriot quarterback for a second-quarter safety that triggered the rout.
