Per the request of Jefferson City Vice Mayor Kevin Bunch during Tuesday’s work session, the matter of annexing 27 acres along the shore of Cherokee Lake will be added to the Council’s March 1 agenda. As of now, the 5 p.m. meeting is slated to be an in-person gathering in the Council Chambers of City Hall.

Along with Mayor Mitch Cain, Bunch noted the receipt of several communiqués from residents of the Woodbriar subdivision. After explaining he hadn’t had the opportunity to respond to each, he said, “I appreciate their taking the time to express their concerns.”
