WHITE PINE - Teacher salaries, recreation facilities and business recruitment were three of the topics addressed by White Pine area County Commissioners during a visit with City Council members prior to council’s September meeting.

Commissioners Paul Lowe, Michael Phagan, and Jim Snodgrass came to hear the concerns of city residents. They began by explaining commission’s goals to keep taxes down and hold onto, or recruit employees who could work in neighboring counties for higher pay.
