Decorating for the holidays

Jefferson County High Service Learning student Samaura Shannon adjusts a bow on a garland adorning the upper balcony at Glenmore Mansion in Jefferson Coty Monday afternoon. Shannon was one of several dozen JCHS students who helped put wreathes and garland on the outside, and decorate trees inside Glenmore for its traditional holiday open houses in early December. Candlelight tours will be held December 4-5, and 11-12, from 5 to 9 p.m. each evening. – DALE GENTRY | THE STANDARD BANNER
