All Jefferson City public meetings will return to Zoom until at least early March.
Jefferson City Mayor Mitch Cain made that declaration during Monday’s Council meeting, following his report of the COVID Task Force he assembled last year, which included what he called “ugly numbers.” Noting there have been “4,090 cases in Jefferson County since March of last year, and right now we have 580 cases that are active,” he added that 67 deaths have occurred in the county and 120 Jefferson Countians are hospitalized.
