Piedmont hosts Christmas Parade

The first parade for the Piedmont Community was a success on Saturday, December 19. Twenty-two tractors of all ages lined-up at 4 Corners Truck Service, along with the usual firetrucks and floats, to roll down Dumplin Valley Road. Parade organizer Brandi Hoffner exclaimed, “I am excited for our small rural community. We hope this grows every year.” Richie Humphrey as Santa waves to people on the parade route using a team of mules to carry the presents. – STEVEN LLOYD | THE STANDARD BANNER
