School Board’s architect plans to be ready for bids on a $10.6 million renovation of Piedmont School early next year, with construction to begin as soon as the 2021-22 school year ends.

Meanwhile, County Commission postponed a vote on a proposed ad hoc committee to discuss funding for a potential Jefferson Elementary project until October — in order to guage more clearly what federal funds may be available.
