The Governor’s Highway Safety Office is recognizing Jefferson County Deputy Ryan Payne as its “2020 DUI Deputy of the Year” for his outstanding work at protecting the public by keeping impaired drivers off local roadways. In presenting the award, East Tennessee Region Law Enforcement Liaison Derrick Woods (left) said Payne has “demonstrated the highest degree of public service.” Also congratulating Payne (second from left) are Sheriff Jeff Coffey and Sgt.
