MORRISTOWN - Facing an uphill battle against regular season champion Morristown East Thursday, the Lady Patriot volleyball team found something it had been missing most of the year … consistency.

JCHS played its best when it counted the most, coming out of the loser’s bracket to defeat the Lady ‘Canes on their home court for the District 2-AAA tournament championship. Needing two straight wins, the Lady Patriots took both matches in four sets – 18-25, 26-24, 25-22 and 25-16 in the first, and 19-25, 25-17, 25-23, and 25-22 in the second.
