SEVIERVILLE - Ninety-nine minutes and 48 seconds. That’s how long Jefferson County held the defending state champion Sevier County Smoky Bears scoreless.

But, with 12 seconds left on the clock in the second 10-minute half of extra time Sevier County found a way to post the go-ahead score and lay claim to the District 2-AAA Tournament title in Thursday’s championship match.
