Rhea County showcased Friday night why its Wing-T frustrated even Jefferson County’s nationally ranked teams.

The Golden Eagles pounded away at JCHS in the rivalry’s renewal, pulling away for a 49-24 triumph at Leroy Shannon Field. It marked Rhea County’s first win at Dandridge since a 14-13 overtime decision in 1992. And for the first time in program history, Jefferson County has lost nine straight games.
