SEVIERVILLE - It’ll be the scenic route for the second-seeded Jefferson County Patriots and their quest to lay claim to the district’s tournament title.

On Saturday, in a game postponed a day by weather, Jefferson County entered the final inning deadlocked at 4-4. Sevier County snapped that tie with a one-out single in the bottom of the seventh, picking up a 5-4 win to put the Patriots on the brink of elimination.
